Tech entrepreneur turned author McCal Roberts has flown to the US in a bid to promote his new novel, which will be launched tonight.Mr Roberts, with the help of publicist Debbie Skowski, will be live-streaming his presentation online at 8pm local time, from Cherry Hill, New Jersey.“I wanted something different from a traditional book-signing,” he said. “I want to create my own environment to show people my work.“This particular area is popular with top authors when they pass through on their way to New York, and it’s a good place for people to relax. I’m going to film it, and as I take this presentation to different cities I’m going to make a documentary of it all.”Local viewers can tune in to Mr Roberts’ talk through the site youbroadcast.com.Mr Roberts had staked his dreams on a novel, ‘Bonded’, set in a fantasy universe ruled by unicorns.He printed the book through Trafford Publishing, and has made it available online through Amazon.“I worked on this book for two years and I had nothing but fun, just a happy time and a learning experience,” Mr Roberts said. “My message to people is to enjoy yourself and make the best of it.”A more traditional signing is set for Saturday, at Cherry Hill’s Barnes and Noble bookstore.
