Ascendant hits 52-week high
Three domestic-board stocks declined and two gained ground in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading last week.
A busy week left The Royal Gazette/BSX Index at 2,046.02, down 6.55 points, or 0.3 per cent from a week before.
Ascendant Group Ltd, owner of power utility Belco, edged 1 cent higher to a 52-week high of $9, as 2,949 of its shares traded.
BF&M Ltd was the only other gainer, advancing 15 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to close on $20.75, as 200 shares traded.
Watlington Waterworks Ltd suffered the largest fall, dipping $2.50, or 9.1 per cent, to close the week on $25 on the trading of just 100 shares.
Somers Ltd, owner of Bermuda Commercial Bank, fell 50 cents, or 3.7 per cent, to $13, as 4,450 shares changed hands, while insurer Argus Group Holdings Ltd, shed 10 cents, or 2.4 per cent, to close on $4.10 on the trading of 23,900 shares.
Trading volume for the week was 159,490 shares and turnover topped $976,000.
