The Bank of Butterfield shares went up 10 cents to $34.10 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move, equal to 0.3 per cent, came after 38,002 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank lost 10 cents, or 0.29 per cent, to $$34.33.

Bermudian financial services holding company Somers Ltd was unchanged at $13.50 after 500 shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 4.50 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 2,054.81.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 9.67 points, or 0.51 per cent, at 1,902.37.
