Butterfield Bank shares ended down 35 cents, or 1 per cent, at $34.52, on the New York Stock Exchange.

Shares of three companies were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but there was no change to their closing prices.

A total of 19,810 shares of BF&M, some 1,500 shares of Somers Limited, and 1,000 shares of Butterfield Bank were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,057.31.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 6.35 points, or 0.33 per cent, at 1,920.44.
