Five teenagers charged with the murder of 18-year-old Kellon Hill will be kept in Police custody, Magistrates' Court heard yesterday.

Zharrin Frankie Simmons, a 16-year-old girl, Kevin Andre Warner, 18, Gary Rupert Hollis, 15, Devon Vonzell Hairston, 17, and Kellan Jeaurreau Lewis, 16, appeared before Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner for mention on the matter.

They are charged with the murder of the college-bound teenager who was stabbed on August 9 while attending a back-to-school party at Elbow Beach.

The court heard that more witness statements and forensic tests were needed before the hearing could proceed. The matter was adjourned until September 11.
