Motorcyclist struck wall in Sandys

A 26-year-old man was sent to hospital following a motorcycle crash in Sandys last night.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Somerset Road, near the junction with Cambridge Road, at around 7.40pm.
“It appears that the rental cycle rider, believed to be a 26-year-old guest worker, struck a wall,” police said in a press release.
He was transported to hospital with unspecified injuries.
“An update on his condition will be provided in due course,” police said.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as a result.
