The Bank of Butterfield lost 13 cents, or 0.38 per cent, on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $34.48.

The bank’s shares were unchanged at $34 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Telecoms company One Communications remained at $2.94 on the local exchange after 10,000 shares sold. The index closed unchanged at 2,075.92.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 8.70 points, or 0.47 per cent, at 1,855.78.
