Made to wait: Bermuda jumper Rabain
The Bermuda Equestrian Federation has been notified that the FEI World Jumping Finals scheduled to be held in Alger, Algeria, next month has been postponed.
The Algeria government has to suspended all sporting and cultural events to be held in Algeria between May 4 and the following weekend because of the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Bermudian Kirista Rabain was set to compete in the event after qualifying by winning the World Jumping Challenge at the National Equestrian Centre last month.
The finals were scheduled to be held from May 3 to 6. The FEI will advise the BEF of the revised dates as soon as they have been finalised.
