The four stamps are to have values of 25 cents, 60 cents, 75 cents, and $2.
One is a water scene of Hamilton in 1823, painted by Mr. Thomas Driver.
Another is a Front Street scene from an 1890 photograph.
A third scene depicts the Harbour, sheds, and a freight boat in 1910.
A fourth is artist Mr. Royce Baxter's impression of modern-day Hamilton, showing the City Hall and other buildings.
The stamps are not likely to be issued before September, a Post Office spokesman said.
