Names go into weekly lotteries to win Barritt and Metro canned drinks. In the monthly lottery, a $250 grocery voucher is at stake.

The "Caught Doing It Right'' promotion was announced by the Ministry of Works and Engineering on August 2, and crews went out to reconnoitre the garbage the next day.

Ms Jane Brett, Government Waste Education and Enforcement Officer, said the promotion was aimed at keeping the recycling scheme moving along. It would continue at least until the end of the year.

The project is mostly funded by the Government, but John S. Barritt & Son Ltd.

and Metro Mineral Water Co. donated their products.
