'I'm still here...but only just'
Hi, everyone! As you can see I am still here, but only by the skin of my teeth. We taped eliminations last Monday, March 7, which will be aired on TV 9 on March 15. It wasn't a very nice experience at all, but we all expected that. On top of that, it was even more dramatic than I thought it was going to be.After all of the eating nightmares, I think I have finally arrived at the right diet for my body type. As I have stated before, it is not cut and dried as to how you lose the weight. There is no one diet that works for every single body type; you have to go on with what will give you the best effect for what you want to achieve. Even after 45 days you still have to look closely into what you eat and when you eat certain things. This is called ‘tweaking your meals'. I will say this, though: a food journal is key to a diet plan. If you actually see in writing what you are putting into your mouth, you can eliminate what is not good for you (or so the trainer says). Sometimes I think that the trainers just want to make you miserable, but if it works, it works.I can definitely see now what goes into making a reality TV show. They have to somehow make it interesting for the audience. Instead of putting the people on the line that belonged on the line, they pull out people that least expect it, which causes a whole lot of drama. It all depends on team dynamics if it's going to be stressful or whether you roll with the punches and rise above all of the adversity that they try to put on you. We were told to get there at 7pm which gave us at least an hour to sit around and wonder OMG how will be? As the night progressed you could feel the tension in the air.People broke off into different groups and talked, read or played games and others (me) strutted their (stuff) smaller bodies around. I felt like this: if this is my last day with everyone in the Challenge, then at least I will look good doing it. As we waited and waited we tried to talk about other things like what were we going to do after the 100 days or if we got eliminated.I personally can't wait to go on vacation with my new body. I am glad to be able to stay in the Challenge and take off some more weight with the help of my trainers. So once again I say ‘thank you' to both my trainers for giving me another chance to bring SEXY back! I think a relaxing cruise to Bahamas with my husband is definitely on the horizon.
