Bermuda's 2012 Senior Citizens’ Week programme seems to have activated a record number of residents ranging in age down from over 100 years, their 90s, 80s and even some below the qualifying age of 65 years.Government Minister Hon. Patrice Minors, calling the latter under-age respondents “imposters”, said on the other hand it was flattering they wanted to keep up with their elders who evidently were so attractive.Minister Minors was speaking at the Awards Ceremony and Luncheon at Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel when she and Cabinet Minister Glen Blakeney joined Premier Paula Cox in handing out awards to nearly 50 seniors. They had been nominated by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, that falls in Minister Minors' portfolio.Amongst the honourees were eight Special Couples and seven Centenarians.
