How would you like to do just one exercise for a full body toning? I had no idea this was possible until I met with six time Mr Bermuda champion, Ross Caesar.Fitness instructor, body builder and life coach, Mr Caesar, of SeaView gym, said a squat press is a good way to tone your arms, legs, abdominals, as well as your back and shoulders.Exercise: Squat PressMuscles toned: quadriceps, gluteus group, hamstrings, all the abdominal muscles, deltoids, lastissimus dorsiMethod:1. Keep feet about shoulder width apart, pointing forward2. Slightly bend the knees3. With back straight, curl forearms up with dumbbell weight resting at shoulder level4. Keep elbows close to the body5. Slowly bend the knees fully until you are in a fully squatted position6. Rise gradually pushing arms overhead until elbows are straight7. Pause and hold for a second8. Gently release arms back to their starting position9. Slowly bend the knees fully until you are in a fully squatted position10. Repeat steps five to nine, 20 timesUse a weight size you are comfortable working with for this exercise. If you cannot manage small weights, do the exercise without holding and weights.Mr Caesar said in addition to toning the body, this is a good exercise for building strength. He recommends it be done two or three times a week.Click here for a video demonstration of the exercise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2oDE2N5GXY&feature=youtube_gdata_player
