Zoe continues lifelong romance with Bermuda

Back in Bermuda: Zoe Dyson Hedstrom (right) and daughter Lulu Hedstrom

Upon noticing how engrossed Zoe Dyson seemed to be in the Tamell Simons exhibition when it opened at the National Gallery. we had the irresistible urge to ask her if she had known him personally. No, she replied, adding she had been attracted by the fact that the show had been promoted by its title “One Love: A Tribute to Tamell.” An art teacher in Greenwich, Connecticut, she was interested in seeing if his spirit was really reflected in his pictures, and why everyone seemed to speak so highly of him. She was impressed, she said.In any case we discovered that Zoe is most popular in her own realm. Born and raised in Bermuda, she is the youngest of the three daughter of the late Archdeacon Thomas Dyson, of the Anglican Diocease of Bermuda, who for many years was the Rector of St Mary's Church in Warwick. The Archdeacon's widow, Mrs Lucette Dyson still makes her home in Warwick, but she has been spending considerable time in California preoccupied with her triplet grandsons who have recently entered boarding school, enabling her to 'put more time at home in Bermuda.' Mother of the triplets is her second daughter Juliana.Eldest of the three Dyson girls is Sarah, who resides in England. She, like the rest of the siblings, frequently visits the place where they were born, raised and have many friends.Zoe is the wife of Mitchell Hedstrom, who seemingly has fallen in love with Bermuda, who is accompanying her on this trip with their daughter Lulu, pictured above at the Art Gallery exhibition with her mother.
