Orchid Charity Club hosts St Patrick’s Day Tea

The Orchid Charity Club under the presidency of Janet Maynard held their annual St Patrick’s Day Tea Sunday last at the Leopard’s Club Auditorium.It was, as one Orchid conceded, a week later that the actual day the rest of the world saluted the iconic Saint. But that enabled them to go over and above in assuring a stimulating social and cultural event.Music for The Tea was by The North Village Community Band and entertainment by Gene Steede. MC was Constance Richardson.
Among the guests was Doris Corbin (second on left) with Orchid executive, Lois Weeks.
