Brian Steinhoff was Bermuda’s top finisher in the Men’s individual Mountain Bike Criterium as Menorca’s El Hihioui Kamal claimed gold at the Arboretum last evening.Kamal won the race by less than one second in a time of 58 minutes, 40.54 seconds, while Elliot Baxter of the Isle of Man was close behind in 58 minutes, 41.17 seconds.His Isle of Man team-mate, Leon Mazzone, rounded off the podium places in a time of 58 minutes, 44.03 seconds.Steinhoff finished in 14th place in a time of one hour, one minute, 52.28 seconds.He was followed by Bermuda riders Mark Hatherley, Deshi Smith, Che’quan Richardson and Phil Trussell.
