The key to being a stylish fashionista is keeping up with the latest trends and updating your look, and the same can be said for websites.That is why fashion expert Shiona Turini’s popular magazine website ‘Style Bermuda’ has recently gone through a major makeover. The four-year-old website is now up and running again, with a fresh new look but still dedicated to providing viewers with the best shopping, entertainment, lifestyle and fashion editorials.“We’re constantly on the hunt for the newest, freshest product and content for our readers,” said Ms Turini. “Our readers are savvy, fashion-forward influencers and we want to provide them with an innovative experience. It’s also very important to us that we stay true to the voice of our brand. Streamlining our visions meant a total overhaul and upgrade, so we gave the website a facelift.”Pink is the predominant colour on the new website that includes articles, photos and excerpts from the social networking site Twitter. One of the highlights of this month’s magazine is a photo shoot with Bermudian model Lillian Lightbourn, who is based in NYC and has a modelling contract with APM Models.“When we discussed a relaunch photo shoot we immediately thought of Lillian Lightbourn,” said Karlandra Smith, a model scout for StyleBermuda.com. “She’s not only one of our favourite models, but we’ve worked with her from the start of her career. Now she’s based in New York working with major publications such as NY Magazine. As we’ve grown up, she’s grown up, and this was a celebration of that growth.”Style Bermuda’s men’s editor Jakai Franks added: “The entire relaunch is sprinkled with a few of our favourite things. These include products from our favourite stores, beauty and hair tips from our favourite stylists, party coverage from events hosted by our favourite DJs and spotlights on some of the Island’s best and brightest new talent.”Among the website’s new features is Style Bermuda’s Pink Book, a constantly updated directory of the best shopping locations locally.
