Covid outbreak causes reduced banking hours

The fresh outbreak of Covid cases has moved Butterfield Bank to reduce banking hours as of Monday.

Until further notice, Butterfield banking centres will be open from 9am to 2pm on weekdays and their corporate offices will be by appointment only.

A statement on Wednesday night said: “To protect members of the public and our staff, capacity remains reduced, and clients must continue to wear a mask and follow all other Covid-19 guidance when visiting Butterfield.

“To reduce wait times, clients should utilise Butterfield’s alternate banking channels, using any Butterfield ATM, Butterfield Online, or the Mobile Banking app where possible.

“In addition, clients wishing to make deposits have the option of using the ‘No-Wait Deposit’ at any Butterfield Banking Centre and the ATMs at Butterfield on Reid Street, Rosebank Drive-Thru, Collectors Hill Apothecary, and Shelly Bay MarketPlace.

“Our full team remains available to assist clients, however appointments and a valid SafeKey will be required for all in person meetings at Butterfield’s corporate offices.

“For loan inquiries, or to make an appointment with Consumer Credit, clients should call (441) 298 4799. Butterfield Asset Management clients should call (441) 299 3817. Corporate, Private Banking and Trust clients can contact their Relationship Manager directly. For all other matters, contact the Butterfield Call Centre on (441) 295 1111.
