Defending champions Flyboys were defeated 58-54 by Hoopstars in the One Island Basketball League on Saturday night.

Flyboys lost despite a game-high 22 points from Keiron Burgess while Calvert Lee led the victors with 16 points.

In the other game at CedarBridge Academy, Islandballers defeated Twisters 55-52 with John Lee leading all scorers with 30 points for Islandballers and Gikai Clarke the Twisters top marksman with 14 points.
