LOM climbs 3.2 percent

The share price of broker and investment firm LOM (Holdings) Ltd rose 3.2 percent yesterday.The company was the only issuer to change value on The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index, which climbed 0.56 points, or 0.05 percent, to close on 1,123.9.LOM climbed 10 cents to $3.20 as 14,000 shares changed hands.Twelve Butterfield Bank preference shares were also traded, as the price remained unchanged on $1,275.The BSX Insurance Index of the Island's leading international insurers gained seven points, or 0.7 percent, to close on 1,014.BSX volume was 14,012 shares and turnover was $59,880.
