Insurer BF&M Ltd got a pre-holiday boost in Christmas Eve trading as it rose 2.5 percent last Friday.The company climbed 34 cents to $14 on the trading of 902 shares on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).The only issuer to trade was Butterfield Bank, which remained unchanged on $1.30 as 200 of its shares changed hands.The Royal Gazette / BSX Index closed 2.37 points, or 0.2 percent higher, at 1,172.66.In a quiet trading session, volume was 1,102 shares and turnover was BD$12,888 and US$3,298.75.The BSX Insurance Index was unchanged on 1,026 points.
