Keytech up 8.5%

Keytech Ltd. was the biggest climber on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week, rising 8.5 percent (54 cents) to $6.90.The telecommunications provider traded 7,193 shares during the day.Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. was up 1.5 percent (15 cents) to $10, as 670 shares changed hands, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd. also increased 0.9 percent (five cents) to $5.80, with 1,920 shares transacted.Butterfield Bank’s preference shares climbed 0.8 percent ($10) to $1,225, with 221 shares traded, and the Ascendant Group Ltd. rose 0.3 percent (five cents) to $15, as 200 shares changed hands.Other traders included Butterfield Bank’s common shares (22,456 shares) and BF&M Ltd. (2,500), but both of their share prices held firm at $1.25 and $14 respectively.Overall the Index was up 8.85 points (0.76 percent) at 1,151.34, with 34,939 shares worth BD$129,832.85 and 221 shares worth US$267,591 transacted.The BSX Insurance Index also increased six points (0.59 percent) to 129,832.85.
