Butterfield Bank gained a cent yesterday in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.The bank rose 0.8 percent on the trading of 7,700 shares to close the day on $1.22.No other domestic board issues traded.The Royal Gazette / BSX Index rose 4.78 points, or 0.4 percent, to 1,119.17. Volume was 7,700 shares and turnover was $9,394.
