Butterfield Bank traded 17,400 common shares on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) on Thursday.But the bank’s share price remained unchanged at $1.30, while it also saw 30 preference shares worth $1,250 each change hands.The Ascendant Group Ltd also transacted 11,300 shares, however its share value held firm at $14.The Index, as a whole, opened and closed at 1,153 with 28,700 shares worth BD$180,817 and 30 shares worth BD$37,773.33 traded.The BSX Insurance Index fell one point (0.1 percent) to 999.
