WHH biggest mover
West Hamilton Holdings Ltd was the biggest mover on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.The company, which is developing the former Bermuda Bakery site, dropped 34.7 percent ($2.66) to close at $5 with 2,000 shares traded.The Ascendant Group Ltd also fell six percent (89 cents) to $14 as 4,025 shares changed hands.Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd, meanwhile, declined 2.3 percent (25 cents) to $10.75 with 5,200 shares transacted.But Argus Group Holdings Ltd rose five percent (25 cents) to $5.25 as 1,200 shares were traded.Butterfield Bank’s preference shares climbed 1.6 percent ($20) to $1,250 with 216 shares changing hands.The bank also transacted 39,100 common shares, however the share price held firm at $1.40.Overall the Index slipped 7.76 points (0.64 percent) to 1,196.45 with 51,525 shares worth BD$184,365 and 1,035 shares worth US$277,821.45 changing hands.The BSX Insurance Index inched up eight points (0.83 percent) to 951.
