The Ascendant Group Ltd fell 0.36 percent (five cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The energy provider traded 5,300 shares to close at $13.75.Butterfield Bank also transacted 1,246 common shares and one preference share, but their share prices held firm at $1.30 and $1,230 respectively.Overall the Index slipped 0.43 points (0.04 percent) to 1,123.87 with 6,546 shares worth BD$74,504.80 and 47,261 shares worth US$407,676.22 changing hands.The BSX Insurance Index, however, climbed 32 points (3.21 percent) to 1,028.
