Shares valued at just shy of $71,000 traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today, but no share prices changed value.

Butterfield Bank was the most actively traded stock, with 6,000 of its common shares changing hands, as the price remained on $1.49, and 60 of the bank’s preference shares also traded, with the price unchanged on $1,182.

Energy company Ascendant Group saw 1,400 shares trade, as its price remained on $10.01.

The Royal Gazette / BSX Index closed unchanged on 1,191.11. The BSX Insurance Index rose 5.44 points, or 0.38 percent, to close on 1,437.08.
