Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd saw the heaviest trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange on Christmas Eve.

The share price of the company, which owns The Royal Gazette, as well as retail, commercial printing and real estate interests, remained unchanged on $8.50 as 7,067 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank was also unchanged at $1.49, as 1,500 of its shares traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was closed for the Christmas Day and Boxing Day holidays, closed on Tuesday unchanged at 1,202,92. Volume totalled 8,567 shares and turnover was $62,271.

The BSX Insurance Index rose 12.5 points, or 0.86 percent, at 1,463.47.
