Somers shares fall 3.2%

A 3.2 percent fall in the shares of Somers Ltd sent the local stock market lower today.
The company, which owns Bermuda Commercial Bank and stakes in several other Bermuda Stock Exchange-listed companies, dipped 40 cents to close on $12 on the trading of 5,000 shares.
Argus Group Holdings was the only other domestic-board company to trade. The insurer closed unchanged on $4.69 as 55 shares changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 2.39 points, or 0.2 percent, to close at 1,200.53. Volume totalled 5,055 shares and turnover was $60,220.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 4.88 points to close the day on 1,468.35.
