The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index remained unchanged on 1,255.75 today.

Among domestic-board companies, no stock changed value. Somers Ltd, owner of Bermuda Commercial Bank, was the only issuer to see trading activity with 3,000 of its shares trading and its price remaining at $12.

The BSX Insurance Index gained 7.77 points, or 0.58 percent, to close the day on 1,357.75.

Meanwhile, in a filing with the BSX, the Bank of NT Butterfield & Son Ltd has announced that during the month of January the bank purchased for treasury 100,073 common shares at an average price of $1.497 per share. In addition, in January the Bank did not purchase for cancellation any eight percent preference shares.
