Butterfield dips 5.7%

Butterfield Bank shares plunged 5.7 percent today to $1.65 — just a day after hitting a new 52-week high of $1.75.
The ten-cent drop in the bank’s share price in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading, came as 8,050 of its shares changed hands.
The bank was the only issuer to trade on the BSX yesterday.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 47.21 points to close at 1,254.66.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 10.42 points, or 0.76 percent, to 1,379.72.
