Bermuda Press shares gain 2.9%

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd’s gained 2.9 percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.
BPH, which is the owner of The Royal Gazette and Bermuda Press, as well as various retail and real estate interests, gained 25 cents to close on $8.75, as 800 shares traded.
Butterfield Bank was the most heavily traded stock, as 11,642 of its shares changed hands, but it closed the day unchanged on $1.99.
A total of 123 of Butterfield’s eight percent preference shares also traded, leaving the price unchanged at $1,200.
The Royal Gazette / BSX Index gained 0.29 of a point, or 0.02 percent, to close on 1,393.88.
The BSX Insurance Index slipped 5.46 points, or 0.39 percent, to close on 1,411.03.
