Butterfield Bank shares dipped 2.4 percent today to lead The Royal Gazette/ Bermuda Stock Exchange Index lower.

The bank fell five cents, to $2, as 9,200 shares traded.

KeyTech Ltd shares slid 29 cents, or 5.4 percent, to $5.11, as 3,196 shares changed hands.

It was a positive day for insurer BF&M Ltd, whose shares climbed 50 cents, or 2.9 percent, to close on $17.50, as 2,900 shares traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd also gained ground, climbing ten cents, or 2.9 percent, to $3.50 on the trading of 500 shares.

The Index fell 23.31 points, or 1.6 percent, to finish the day on 1,421.88
