The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index remained unchanged on 1,371.68 today as only Ascendant Group Ltd traded among domestic-board issuers.

Ascendant, which owns electricity provider Belco, remained on $6.20 as 6,000 of its shares changed hands.

Among international companies listed on the BSX, 19,084 shares of HSBC Holdings plc traded, as the price gained 50 cents, or 4.95 percent.

Volume totalled 25.084 shares. Bermuda dollar turnover totalled $37,200, while US dollar turnover was $202,290.40.

The BSX Insurance Index fell two points, or 0.14 percent, to 1,452.09.
