Shares of BF&M Ltd fell 2.7 percent on low volume in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The insurer fell 50 cents to $18 as 100 of its shares traded.

The only other issue to move was Butterfield Bank’s eight percent preferred stock, which gained $3, or 0.25 percent, to close on $1,163, as 50 shares were exchanged.

Butterfield Bank’s common shares also traded and remained on $1.99 as 10,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 3.44 points, or 0.25 percent, to close the week on 1,388.28.

Trading volume totalled 10,150 shares while turnover was $79,852.43.
