Ascendant Group Ltd fell 0.8 percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The parent company of electricity company Belco fell five cents to close on $5.95 on the trading of 9,000 shares.

Ascendant was the only domestic-board company to trade as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 0.43 of a point to close on 1,379.41.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 1.57 points, or 0.11 percent, to close on 1,483.71.
