Shares of Ascendant Group Ltd fell 1.7 percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The owner of electricity company Belco was the only stock to trade and closed ten cents down at $5.90, as 800 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 0.87 of a point at 1,376.6.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 1.38 points, or 0.09 percent, at 1,502.75.
