Butterfield drops a cent

More than $100,000 worth of shares changed hands today on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
A total of 24,502 shares moved, with the Bank of Butterfield leading the pack with 19,702 shares exchanged.
The bank closed the day down at $1.99 a share, a drop of one cent, or 0.5 per cent.
Insurance firm BF&M saw 2,000 shares sold, leaving its closing price unchanged at $18 a share.
Ascendant Group, which owns power firm Belco, saw 1,900 shares move, leaving it 25 cents, or 4.4 per cent, down on the day, with shares at $5.40.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index finished the day on 1,363.25, down 6.89 points, or 0.5 per cent.
The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1528.75, down 11.85 points or 0.77 per cent.
