There was very little activity on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, with only 4,500 shares of Butterfield Bank being traded today. The bank’s shares lost one cent (-0.5 per cent) to close at $1.99.

The Index closed down 4.72 points (-0.35 per cent) at 1,352.98. The BSX Insurance Index also lost ground, closing down 19.48 points (-1.28 per cent) at 1,505.43.
