A total of 41,401 Bank of Butterfield shares moved, leaving the share price one cent (0.5 per cent) up at $2.

And telecoms firm KeyTech saw 10,000 shares sold, with shares closing at $3.55, up 55 cents (18.3 per cent).

The index closed the day at 1,364.49, 11.51 points (0.85 per cent) up.

The BSX Insurance Index finished down 6.02 points (0.40 per cent) at 1,499.41.
