Bank of Butterfield shares fell one cent (0.5 per cent) to $1.99 after 19,231 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The bank’s stock was the only one to trade on the index, which slipped 4.72 points (0.34 per cent) to close at 1,368.44.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,578.92, up 1.46 points (0.09 per cent).
