Nearly 115,000 shares worth $302,457.62 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

A total of 114,838 Bank of Butterfield shares moved, leaving the bank’s price unchanged at $1.99.

Shares in Ascendant Group, the parent firm of power firm Belco, fell 20 cents (3.5 per cent) to $5.50 after 6,600 of its shares sold.

And shares in insurance firm BF&M dropped 15 cents (0.8 per cent) to $17.60 after 3,000 of its shares changed hands.

Paint firm Devonshire Industries saw 1,000 shares sell, leaving its price at $4.99.

And Bermuda Aviation Services shares rose 14 cents (5.3 per cent) to $2.76 after 200 were sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed at 1,368.64, down 2.16 points ((0.16 per cent).

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day on 1,579.89, down 4.33 points (0.27 per cent).
