Govt debt stock falls

Government debt stock fell on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, one of three stocks to decline.
The Index fell 5.41 points (0.39 per cent) to close at 1,367.96.
One of the stocks to decline was Government of Bermuda $50m/4.75 per cent debt, after 20 units were sold. The price fell $6.00 (5.7 per cent) to close at $100.
Also falling were shares in BF&M, after 4,100 were exchanged. The shares closed down 10 cents (0.6 per cent) at $17.50. Another faller was Bank of Butterfield, which saw 54,900 shares change hands to close at $1.99, down $0.01 (0.5 per cent).
The BSX Insurance Index was down 9.98 points (0.63 per cent) at 1,569.91.
