Five stocks traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but there was no chance to the closing price of the shares, resulting in no movement for the Index, which remained at 1,365.90.

A total of 4,500 shares of Ascendant Group, the parent company of Belco, were exchanged, leaving the stock unchanged at $5.50. Likewise, Argus Group’s stock remained unchanged at $3.60 after 800 shares were traded.

Shares of BCB Holdings, HSBC Holdings and Waterloo Investment Holdings were also traded without affecting their respective closing prices.

The value of stocks traded was $27,630.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 10.77 points (0.69 per cent) to 1,552.54.
