Somers shares fall 28%

Financial services holding company Somers Ltd was the biggest loser today on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The firm’s shares plunged $4 — a 28.6 per cent fall — to $10 as 2,300 shares traded.
Insurance firm Argus also fell, down 19 cents (4.8 per cent) after 400 shares changed hands, leaving its price at $3.80.
And the Bank of Butterfield dropped five cents (2.9 per cent) to $1.70 after 16,575 shares sold.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 52.67 points (4.22 per cent) at 1,194.26.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 0.96 points (0.06 per cent) at 1,621.76.
