Polaris Holdings Ltd was up ten cents in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today after 300 of its shares changed hands.

The move saw the dock services firm’s shares finish up 3.3 per cent at $3.15.

Bank of Butterfield preference shares also rose, up $1.50 (0.1 per cent) to $1,137 after 45 shares moved.

The bank also saw 3,000 ordinary shares change hands, with the price unchanged at $1.75.

Somers Ltd was also unchanged at $13.50 after 2,300 shares changed hands.

And Ascendant Group remained at $5.20 after 65 shares traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 0.12 points (0.01 per cent) at 1,243.94.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 3.08 points (0.19 per cent) on 1,627.34.
