A total of 15,400 shares worth $38,880 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Bank of Butterfield saw 15,000 shares change hands, leaving its price unchanged at $1.80.

While five of the bank’s preference shares also traded, with the price down $2.49 (0.2 per cent) at $1,137.50.

Insurance firm BF&M was down ten cents (0.6 per cent) to $17.20 after 400 shares were sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 0.76 points (0.06 per cent) at 1,265.27.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 11.16 points (0.68 per cent) at 1,647.42.
