BSX down as shares slide

A total of 43,322 shares worth $112,917 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The biggest mover was Bank of Butterfield, where 37,922 shares traded, moving its price down one cent (0.6 per cent) at $1.74.
Property investment firm Somers Ltd closed 25 cents down (1.9 per cent) at $13 after 2,000 of its shares changed hands.
Transport company Polaris saw 2,500 shares trade, closing down four cents (1.3 per cent) at $3.11.
Insurance firm BF&M was unchanged at $17 after 700 shares moved.
And utilities company Ascendant was also unchanged at $5 after 200 shares sold.
The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 6.09 points (0.5 per cent) at 1,213.92.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 61.46 points (3.85 per cent) at 1,534.30.
