Utilities firm Ascendant dropped 20 cents to $4.80 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move saw the company finish the day down four per cent.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $1.76, after 2,175 shares changed hands.

While insurance firm BF&M was also unchanged at $16.75, after 2,000 shares traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 1.89 points (0.16 per cent) at 1,213.22.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 7.57 points (0.49 per cent) at 1,651.32.
