A total of 32,065 shares worth $77,948.70 today traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Bermuda Aviation Services dropped 85 cents (27.4 per cent) to $2.25 after 19,806 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield was at $1.81, down four cents (2.2 per cent) after 7,259 shares changed hands.

Telecoms firm KeyTech was unchanged at $4 after 5,000 shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 21.52 points (1.67 per cent) at 1,266.80.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 37.51 points (2.25 per cent) at 1,629.73.

The BSX yesterday also reported that the Bank of Butterfield bought 101,917 of its shares for treasury in October, at an average price of $1.761 per share.

The BSX will be closed on Wednesday in observance of the annual Remembrance Day public holiday.
